wow week

Some notable events took place this past week.

1. Our iphones arrived!  It's pretty revolutionary, I must say.  I'm discovering there is an app for just about anything. Some favorites of mine so far include: shakeitphoto, grocery gadget, Bible, and doodle jump.  I am excited to test out a 20 minute meals and Jillian Michaels app.

2. We are now on our own cell phone plan and are officially married adults.  Unfortunately, that also means we have to start paying for our bill.  Funny how that works. 

3. I made a new best friend.  We have been work friends since I have been at Loft, but we finally hung out and had such a great time, even though we got soaked by a monsoon while racing into the mall.

4. David and I enjoyed some Red Mango on Sunday after a tasty lunch from Whole Foods.  Take a look at the deliciousness of this frozen yogurt joint.  Mine = tangamonium yogurt with fresh mangos, kiwis and strawberries, and Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips.  His = vanilla yogurt with fresh strawberries and blueberries and graham cracker. 

5.  This past Sunday, we were both very challenged in our faith after listening to the message entitled "When Losing Means Winning" on Matthew 10:34-39 and Luke 14:26-28.  I strongly encourage you to listen to this message and allow God to speak to you.  My heart was so overwhelmed with conviction, sadness and remorse for my selfishness and sin, and gratefulness for God's grace and love that by the end of the last song (The Stand by Hillsong), tears were streaming down my face.  The question that has stuck with me the past couple days is this: do I really love Jesus more than anything or anyone else?   {LISTEN}

6.  Last but certainly not least, we put our wedding money to good use and bought a coffee table and entertainment center.  It's been so nice to have a coffee table again, what a valuable little piece of furniture!
